Overview
Sakura
was an ordinary elementary schoolgirl who stumbled upon a deck of
magical
cards kept in a clasped book inside her father's basement library.
In
her curiosity, she read the name of the the first card in the deck she
saw,
"...Windy..."
That
was how it all began. For those cards were no ordinary cards;
they
were enchanted Clow cards made by an ancient wizard.
The
magic of the windy card created a whirlwind which blew the cards
all
over the town. The "Beast of the Clow Cards", Kerberos, then emerged
as
a cute winged teddy bear-like creature and entrusted her with the magic
to
use and recapture the Clow cards. From then on, the duo were lead on
a
hectic chase for the Clow cards, while Sakura has learn to balance
her
magical duties with school, housework and even a crush on
her
brother's friend, Yukito.
A story
about the pains and joys of growing up filled with magic, fantasy,
and
detective work as she hunts down the Clow Cards. Every
Clow
card has its own name, personality, and very often, a nasty attitude
to
go along, thus each presents a totally new challange, and allows a new
and
interesting theme to be explored in every episode.
